Dr. Francis Anthony Beneventi Medical Scholarship A preferred amount $5,000 scholarship awarded to one student either attending or planning to attend an approved, accredited medical school, college, or university. The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.25. This scholarship is not automatically renewable; however, recipients may reapply for consideration each year for up to four consecutive years, pending receipt of proof of continued enrollment (no pre–med, veterinarian, or physician assistant), and after the first semester, an annual transcript review indicating a minimum GPA of 3.25.

The Lucinda Beneventi Findley History Scholarship Due before February 10, 2016. A one-time $2,000 scholarship awarded to two graduating high school seniors that have demonstrated advance interest in history and are planning to major in or pursue the study of history in a full-time accredited college or university in the United States. Ashrae- Pre-engineering Engineering, HVAC&R Majors: due May 1. Four $3,000 scholarships available annually to college freshmen enrolled full-time in an undergraduate pre-engineering, engineering or engineering technology program leading to a bachelor degree in a course of study that traditionally has been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession. Applicants must be high school seniors who have been accepted into a pre-engineering, engineering, or engineering technology program at a post-secondary educational institution that meets at least one of the following criteria:
• The institution hosts a recognized ASHRAE Student Branch
• The program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or the Partnership for Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Accreditation (PAHRA) in the USA
• The program is accredited by an equivalent agency outside the USA that is part of The Washington or Sydney Accord or has a signed Memorandum of Understanding with ABET.
